45th IAA World Congress 2024

Penang, Malaysia is set to host the upcoming 45th International Advertising Association (IAA) World Congress 2024, marking a historic milestone as the first time this prestigious event will be held in Southeast Asia.

The event is scheduled to unfold in the vibrant city of Penang from March 6 to 8, 2024. It is proudly co-hosted by IAA Malaysia, the Penang State EXCO Office for Tourism and Creative Economy (PETACE), and the Penang Conference and Exhibition Bureau (PCEB).

The second industry networking event hosted in conjunction with PETACE and PCEB was held at the Amari Spice Hotel on Tuesday 12 December. In attendance were The Honourable Wong Hon Wai, the Executive Councilor for Tourism and Creative Economy, Ashwin Gunasekeran, the Chief Executive Officer of PCEB, John Doody Chacko, Chairman of the 45th IAA World Congress Organising Committee and members of the Organising Committee including Omar Shaari, Milan Agnihotri, Sailendra Kanagasundram, Gary Tay, Pat Wahid, Amy Chia, the PCO Project Heads, members of the Congress Secretariat, representatives from PETACE, PCEB and State agencies.
