(Marketingmagazine.com.my) – The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) released the ranking of the top online portals Malaysians visited in February 2016 based on the data from the comScore MMX and comScore Mobile Metrix services.

Here are some key insights from the study:

• Two of the top local websites visited by Malaysian’s from their desktops are both from the banking sector with MAYBANK2U.COM.MY taking the top spot followed by CIMBCLICKS.COM.MY. Last year’s study also showed Maybank being the top local website of choice for Malaysian desktop users.

• Looking at the global websites frequented by local users Google sites takes the top spot followed by social networking site Facebook and Yahoo sites.

• Online marketplace MUDAH.MY came in third as the top website viewed via desktop but remained at the top mind for local mobile users. The MUDAH.MY site came up tops in the list of web properties viewed via mobile devices, followed closely by Yahoo and Malaysiakini sites.
