ViewQwest partners Cato Networks to offer SD-WAN with Cloud Firewall for Enterprises in Malaysia

Businesses in Malaysia are expanding globally, relying on data and applications in the cloud, in tandem with the growth of an increasingly mobile workforce.

The technology adopted by businesses needs to be agile, easily adapting to fast-changing needs while simplifying the infrastructure required to support the technology.

With this landscape in mind, ViewQwest Sdn Bhd (ViewQwest) has partnered with Cato Networks to provide their secured and global Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solution to enable Malaysian businesses to subscribe to their enterprise grade, elastic and agile network security services, tightly integrated into the Cato Cloud network.

ViewQwest’s latest secured SD-WAN connectivity service in Malaysia no longer requires WAN optimisers installed at each location.

Businesses can now streamline their on-premise equipment and centralise management for their network with this cloud-based service.

Mr T. Arasoo, CEO of ViewQwest Sdn Bhd said, “With the timely launch of ViewQwest’s SD-WAN service as we go to market with Malaysian businesses, there is a need for us to provide cost effective, intelligent and secure cloud-based SD-WAN solutions.

Our partnership with Cato Network enables us to provide a uniform global network and security platform for all connectivity requirements, governed by one global policy, offering Malaysian businesses the best protection against cyber threats and achieve savings of 50% or more on telecommunications and other infrastructure costs.

It is definitely a win-win situation for us as a provider and for Malaysian businesses as our customers.”

Mr Stree Naidu, Vice President (APJ) of Cato Networks said, “We’re excited to work with ViewQwest once again to eliminate the operational complexity often faced in the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) set-up.

Cato Networks enables any business to receive a user experience similar to MPLS at a fraction of the cost and remain competitive in their business.”

Businesses will have the option of a unified secured SD-WAN solution or the software-defined Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS) as a standalone. The ViewQwest network is available nationwide.

Collaboration is keypartnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.

Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
