Tesco Malaysia reveals secret recipe to a tasty rendang: A Mother’s Touch

MullenLowe Malaysia collaborates with Tesco Malaysia for Mother’s Day
Everyone knows that food tastes best with a mother’s touch.
Tesco Malaysia collaborates with MullenLowe Malaysia for Mother’s Day.

The film titled ‘Rendang Siapa Tera’ tells a story of a cooking showdown between two sisters, each trying to prove who’s a better Rendang chef.

It all started with a heated argument between the two sisters and things got even worse when their kids asked them to challenge each other.

Despite having different ways to cook their Rendang, the two sisters then realised that they have one thing in common, a dish that brought their family members together, passed down by their mother.

“The secret recipe to every mum’s one-of-a-kind cooking is the ‘air tangan ibu’. So, this Mother’s Day, we used this spot as an opportunity to remind viewers about ‘air tangan ibu’ – loosely translated as a mother’s touch in every meal,” said Eddy Nazarullah, Head of Creative at MullenLowe Malaysia.

Concurrently, Tesco is also running a contest “Masak Macam Mak”, promoting Malaysians to cook as good as their mums with fresh ingredients available at Tesco.”
The winners stand a chance to win RM100 Tesco cash vouchers.
