04 Sep
BY THE HAMMER
As Malaysia celebrates its cherished 66th Merdeka, Yeo’s has embarked on an exciting new journey with a renewed focus and campaign, “Refresh What Matters”, which kicked started with A New Look for their Asian Drinks.
Just as Malaysia continually evolves and flourishes, so does Yeo’s. The fresh outlook mirrors the vibrant dynamism of the nation.
“This evolution signifies not only a new look but also a renewed hope for the future. This Merdeka, we invite all Malaysians to unite in celebration. I am pleased to share our Refresh Bersama Yeo’s video that embraces each of our unique identify and the multi-cultural roots,” says Renda Low, Marketing Director at Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Berhad.
The video features Gen Z KOLs with followers on TikTok: Ikma 3.1million (Rising Star of the Year on TikTok), Alex 6.8million and Julian who is a DJ.
The Yeo’s Legacy
Taking root from a small little shop making soya sauce to the leading home-grown food & beverage company that it is today, the history of Yeo’s is the epitome of what dreams, hard work and perseverance can amount to.
A man of great foresight, Yeo boldly ventured into foreign soil and in 1935, set up the Yeo Hiap Seng Sauce Factory in Singapore which soon flourished and quickly expanded into Malaysia in 1940s.
Having already made a name for itself in Malaysia and Singapore, Yeo’s took the bold step to establish joint ventures with several foreign companies as well as establish direct overseas operations in countries such as Indonesia, Hong Kong SAR, China, Canada, the US and other parts of the globe.
Happy Merdeka all!
