(marketingmagazine.com.my) -The Malaysian CMO Conference has become a landmark event for all serious marketing communications and media professionals.
Apart from learning cutting-edge knowledge and listening to real-market experiences from the speakers and panelists, it is also a great opportunity to network with thinkers from the marketing, media, advertising, digital and content ecosystem.
Conference Organiser Harmandar Singh shared, “The market is in a state of flux. Digital is exciting but also a minefield if handled wrong. Marketers need stamina, focus and a scalable approach to strategies.“
Themed New Realities, the event covers how the marketing journey goes from content and conversations to convergence and conversions.
Sulin Lau, Head of Marketing Services for Maxis, will speak about how the marketing game is changing so fast that today’s approaches may become obsolete sooner than we think.
Santharuban Sundaram, Group Marketing Manager of Etika Holdings, will talk about his experiences with product launches and campaigns for brands like WONDA, Lipton, Tropicana, Mountain Dew, Revive Isotonic, Goodday and most recently, Calpis.
Speaker Raja Teh will cover the topic “How today’s digital reality can enrich customer experiences”, focusing on how the digital ecosystem is shaping the customer experience roadmap across Hong Leong Islamic Bank’s shared network of over 270 branches and 1,400 self-service terminals nationwide.
Cyril Dhenaut, Head of Marketing at KFit Group, will share how their new innovation called Fave will give local businesses the technological keys to grow their physical businesses. Currently in beta testing, Fave will hit the Southeast Asia consumer marketplace later this year.
The event will also debut the first ever screening in Malaysia of the World’s Best Campaigns from Cannes Lions 2016, the largest gathering of worldwide advertising professionals, designers, media pros, digital innovators and marketers.
Other speakers sharing the stage include Rachel Lim, Co-Founder of Love Bonito, Spencer Lee, Commercial Head at AirAsia Berhad and Eric Wong, Marketing Director at IBM Malaysia.
About 300 senior marketing and media players are expected to attend this once-one-year wakeup call on what’s hot and what’s not in marketing.
