Leo Chow has been appointed CEO for Lazada Malaysia taking the reigns from his predecessor, Christophe Jejune.
He will lead strategic development and growth efforts in Malaysia, unlike his previous role where he worked on developing and implementing regional category and assortment strategies.
Leo will be working with local function teams and applying the vast experience he has from his time at Taobao. His appointment as the new CEO is apt since he has been instrumental in facilitating Alibaba’s investment into Lazada.
He will now be building on the 2018 successes and big wins of Lazada Malaysia.
Some of the major achievements include breaking the 12.12 sales record, generating more than RM100 million in gross merchandise value.
