(marketingmagazine.com.my) – Media Prima Radio Network (MPRN) has expended its latest station, Kool FM, targeted at 22-44 year olds, to Kuala Terengganu on 93.6 FM.
The frequency expansion is part of MPRN’s effort to provide an alternative choice to local music lovers, with Kool FM going on air fully throughout the peninsula Malaysia by end of 2016.
Since its launch three months ago, Kool FM has been operational on two frequencies in Klang Valley and Penang, and can be accessed through its mobile application, which has already over 45,000 downloads.
On social media, Kool FM’s Instagram account has garnered over 53,000 followers and more than 50,000 likes on its Facebook page.
MPRN is also using a slightly different approach in positioning Kool FM. Various activities and collaborations with sister station Hot FM have already been planned, maximising the use of multiple platforms to provide positive impact to Kool FM’s listeners and business partners.
