Fernie Joins Fetch

Fernie Jasmine Abdul Ghani joins Fetch TV Australia as Chief Customer Officer. She served as Head of Group Strategic Communications & Marketing at Axiata, where she worked for 9 years. Prior to that she was at Maxis and Maybank.

Fernie brings over 30 years of experience in APAC telecoms, financial services, and tech to the role.

Fetch TV CEO, Dominic Arena, says, “Fetch 2.0 is fundamentally about growing scale and profitability through optimisation of the core home entertainment platform business, while selectively extending our world-class products into relevant adjacencies.

We’re investing in top-tier talent to capitalise upon our installed base of devices in around 715,000 homes, or 10% of Australian family households, comprising nearly 2 million unique individuals.”

Fetch TV has also made other key senior leadership appointments to advance its ‘Fetch 2.0’ strategy.

Eileen Khor joins as executive director, brand, product marketing, and creative design, with over 15 years of experience. Israel Sage-Pickin has also joined as GM, sales and channels, bringing over 30 years of experience in business development, account management, and category insights to the role.

Fetch TV is an Australian IPTV provider, majority owned by Telstra and the remainder by Astro Malaysia Holdings. Fetch TV is a subsidiary of Astro Malaysia Holdings, and was initially launched in July 2010.
