BBDO Singapore Launches Kopiko Branded Content in US & Hispanic Markets

New ad campaign from BBDO Singapore and Mayora targets midday drowsiness with Kopiko, the world’s number one coffee in your pocket.   

If you’re feeling sleepy and need an instant solution to perk you up, Kopiko is often the name that comes to mind. Originally produced by coffee experts, Mayora from Indonesia, Kopiko – made from real volcanic coffee beans – is available in over 100 countries around the world. 

To further promote their international reputation, Mayora partnered with BBDO Singapore to produce branded content designed to reach US and Hispanic markets. 

Shot in Bangkok with Spunk Pictures, the video content brandishes an energetic and effervescent tone to emphasise the awakening effect – the Kopiko effect – of taking Kopiko when you have trouble staying awake. 

Set against a high-spirited, well-known jingle in Asia, remixed in Spanish, the film shows how Kopiko wakes you up in everyday relatable scenarios, from battling the “Zzzs” on a drowsy workday to staying alert in the middle of a slow traffic jam.  

Using a mix of humour and heart-warming sequences, the film delivers a story with universal appeal, catering to the expansive communities from the US and Hispanic markets – and perhaps, even beyond. 

At one glance, the instinctive takeaway of the film is that Kopiko is an authentic coffee product that is tasty, convenient, and instantly invigorating. Beyond that, Kopiko is coffee in a pocket that can connect people with joy.  

“Kopiko produced many memorable ads in the past. We had the task of reimagining an ad that was loved by many in one market to another – this time to the US and Hispanic markets.
