Sin Chew Daily is joining hands with big names in the country to spread positive vibes to millions across its various platforms during the enforcement of Movement Control Order (MCO) to inspire and motivate fellow Malaysians in their fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 27-day campaign commencing 19 March 2020 has witnessed the collaboration between Sin Chew Daily and its long-term partners as well as esteemed brands across various sectors such as telecommunications, banking, property development & construction, insurance, automobile, aviation, travel & tours, education and retail.
The participants include AIA, AirAsia, Apple Travel, Caring, EcoWorld, Gamuda Land, Golden Destination, Golden Tourworld Travel, Hai-O Group, IJM Land, Axe Brand, Mah Sing Group, Malaysia Airlines, Maxis, Mitraland, 99 Speed Mart, OCBC, OGAWA, Proton, Rozel, SMM Education Group, Subaru, Sunsuria, Sunway Group, TM Group and UCSI.
“We are stronger together, and in trying times as such, we need one another to pull through the crisis. It is the spirit that counts,” said Eugene Wong, Group Chief Executive Officer of Sin Chew Media Corporation Berhad in explaining the objective of the Positive Vibes Campaign.
The campaign has been well received among Sin Chew’s audience, garnering close to three million reach and engagement on its social media profiles. Each of our partners has brought on board a specific message for either frontliners or the general public who are playing their part by staying home.
Such messages are disseminated through Sin Chew Daily and its social media profiles including Facebook and IG accounts, reaching extensive audience across different demographics.
The campaign is part of Sin Chew’s effort to mobilise and motivate Malaysians in combating the COVID-19 pandemic by extending their platforms to its partners and affiliates. The media group hopes to play its part through its extensive reach and influence.
Further to this uplifting campaign, Sin Chew Daily has through Yayasan Sin Chew initiated a donation drive–which has raised in excess of RM6 million thus far–to help our frontliners who are facing acute equipment shortage.
