Volvo takes a stronger focus on the local bus market

(marketingmagazine.com.my) – Volvo Buses Malaysia has recently appointed Mr Mahadevan Santhanasamy (Devan) as the company’s new Country Manager effective 14th Nov 2016.

Devan has been in the automotive industry for the past 12 years and served Volvo Malaysia since 2012.

His last position with Volvo was as Dealer Manager handling the Northern Region operations of Volvo Trucks Dealerships.

Welcoming Devan to the company Manish Sahi, Head Region (Singapore) Volvo Buses, shared that the company was looking to increase its market share for its buses division in the local market.

“The addition of Devan to Volvo Buses Malaysia team will boost the organizational strength and add to the local knowledge and customer connect. Volvo Buses is eyeing strong growth and increase market share in the Malaysia Bus market.

“Volvo Buses believes that the infrastructure development in Malaysia will provide a big boost to the bus industry,” said Manish Sahi, Head Region (Singapore) Volvo Buses, welcoming Devan as the Country Manager.
