The Unilever Future Leaders’ League (FLL) is a global business case competition, giving students a chance to create real impact with Unilever’s top brands.
Each year, the best and brightest university students from all over the world join FLL, designing innovative solutions to real business challenges.
In Malaysia recently, students competed in teams of three and were given a real-life business case which they had to analyse and develop a marketing plan for the target market.
The top 10 shortlisted teams were then invited to a session where they met the other teams for the first time in Kuala Lumpur.
They engaged with leaders in Unilever Malaysia who coached them on skills to help them in the case challenge. They also went for trade visits to learn how Unilever products were marketed and the different consumers’ demographics across different stores.
In the final presentation, each of the teams presented their marketing campaign to a panel of judges who decided on the winning team to represent Malaysia and compete in the global round in London next year.
Here are the final results:
National Champion: Team Fly Sunway University | 1st Runner Up: Tinkers Taylor’s University | 2nd Runner Up: Cow-Pow! Heriot Watt University |
