TVB Malaysia appoints Hazel Lee as new Sales Director

TVB Malaysia is pleased to announce the appointment of Hazel Lee as the new Sales Director, effective September 1, 2024. With an extensive background in media sales and a proven track record of driving revenue growth, Hazel is poised to lead TVB Malaysia’s sales initiatives and further enhance its market presence.

Hazel brings more than 20 years of media industry experience, having held key positions at renowned organizations. At Star Media Group, she served as Assistant General Manager, she implemented creative strategies to drive revenue growth for Malay verticals namely Majoriti Digital and Majoriti 7.

Previously, as Head of Sales at Dimsum Entertainment, she boosted advertising revenue through innovative digital ad sales strategies. At Astro Media Solution, she led the successful launch of Astro Power Hour [marketing seminar], targeting SMEs and re-engaging lapsed advertisers.

In her new role at TVB Malaysia, Hazel will focus on driving revenue growth through sponsorship opportunities for dramas and short series, developing customized advertising packages, and enhancing artiste engagement.

TVB International, the world’s largest premium Chinese content provider, reaches global audiences through platforms like TVB Anywhere [OTT], partnerships with major channels such as Astro, 8TV, StarHub, Singtel, and Mediacorp, and over 100 YouTube channels in eight languages.
