TNG Digital appoints Izra Izzuddin as Director of Marketing and Communications

Izra Izzuddin was appointed the Director of Marketing and Communications at Touch n’ Go (TNG) Digital as of 6 January, 2020. Prior to this appointment, Izra was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications Firefly Sdn Berhad.

Her extensive background in various industries such as FMCG, media & broadcasting and aviation has created her passion for turning brands around strategically, to consistently match the current market and consumer needs. 

Izra Izzuddin was previously the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Firefly before she was appointed as Director of Marketing and Communications for Touch n’ Go Digital on January 6, 2020.

As first order of business after joining TNG Digital, among other things, Izra is looking to optimise the marketing, products and communications talent within the company to achieve world class visibility and presence while simultaneously enhancing a model that not only acquires new TNG users but sustains them as active users. 

In Malaysia, e-wallets started booming three years ago and officially, Bank Negara has given out 48 e-money licenses. Regardless of the abundance of e-wallet options that exist, only a handful of front-runners have been consistently emerging as leaders in the industry.

For Izra, the most exciting thing about working in the new and growing industry that is e-wallets in Malaysia, is the ability to craft and be creative. “TNG Digital is all about challenging yet contributing to the market with convenience, security, and the seamless transactions using out TNG eWallet. 

Izra was also a CMO winner in 2018 for Best Marketer in Travel and Hospitality Marketing.

As the largest e-wallet in the country, the TNG eWallet aligns itself with the government’s push for transforming the nation into a cashless future.
