Official education channel for Malaysian students to air starting Wednesday

The Ministry of Education (MOE) will be launching DidikTV KPM which will be used as the ministry’s dedicated TV channel, on 17 February. The channel will run daily from 7am to midnight and Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin will launch the Education TV channel at 8am on the first day of its broadcast.

In a statement, the ministry said the channel will be accessible via channel 107 on MYTV, 147 on Astro and ntv7 on TV Unifi.

According to MOE, aside from broadcasting specially designed content based on the nationa’s SPM curriculum and co-curriculum, DidikTV KPM will also provide news on the education world, edutainment programmes, content produced by students themselves and relevant international programmes.

Apart from DidikTV, MOE is also providing 11 hours of educational TV programmes on TV Okey RTM and Tutor TV Astro.
