(marketingmagazine.com.my) – Malaysia Airlines recently announced the appointment of Schrene Goh Miow Ying as the airline’s new Head of Marketing. The appointment is effective 15 December 2016.
Schrene brings to the organization more than 15 years in regional marketing and digital experience in various industries including aviation, telecommunications and consumer goods.
She was most recently the Head of Marketing, Communications, Brand and Digital for U Mobile where she was oversaw the digital engagement and overall direction of the department. In just one year under her leadership, U Mobile won Malaysia’s Strongest Brand Award 2016 in the Telecommunications category.
Prior to this she was with AirAsia for over five years, as the company’s Marketing Manager for its entire ASEAN network, including the India market. According to the airline while at AirAsia Schrene successfully turned the India market to profit and grew the brand’s Ancillary Income from just RM800 000 to more than RM1 billion a year.
