Here’s to peace, hope, and understanding!
Coca-Cola has launched limited-edition cans, commemorating Tuesday’s historic summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore.
Designed by Dentsu’s Merdeka LHS, the logos were written half in English, half in Korean with a message in both languages that reads “Here’s to Peace, Hope and Understanding”. The teams then took to the streets to interview people in Singapore on their thoughts and feelings about this historical event.

On Facebook, the company posted a video of man-on-the-street interviews it filmed in Singapore the day before the meeting.
The video ends with the song “I’d Like To Teach The World To Sing (In Perfect Harmony)” made popular by Coca-Cola’s 1971 ‘Hilltop’ advertisement.
Ironically, North Korea and Cuba are the only countries where Coca-Cola Co has no operations at. The cola served at restaurants and lining the shelves in stores where more typical North Koreans shop are likely to be local imitations.
