“Volvo’s ‘V app’ is by far one of the most interesting cases we’ve seen this year. The automotive industry has always been a frontrunner in new tech but quite often the innovation comes across gimmicky and falls short with delivering real results.

In this case, storytelling and lead generation were seamlessly integrated into the app. Moreover, users became active participants in this futuristic (and somewhat creepy) AI-led conversation. The agency behind V shared some interesting details regarding the relationship between V and some of her counterparts.

For anyone finding it hard to connect Volvo’s V with content marketing then we’d like to argue that this is a great example of brands creating compelling stories around their product’s key strengths – in this case Volvo being positioned as the most intelligent car in the market.
