Congratulations to all the campaigns that have been shortlisted for APPIES Malaysia 2019, from a field of almost 60 entries this year.
In less than two weeks, all these shortlisted campaigns will be contending for the highly coveted APPIES Malaysia Gold & Silver awards.
The campaigns will be presented Live on stage by the campaign creators over two enriching days in a unique ‘4-6-10’ format.
Each campaign begins with a 4-minute video summary, followed by a Live 6-minute exposition of the campaign’s key highlights by the brand’s marketers or campaign creators. After this, comes the rapid-fire 10 minutes Q&A session!
The shortlisted campaigns cover major industry categories like Consumer Services, Business Services, Consumer Durables, Food and Beverage, Non-Food FMCG and Pro bono/governmental/cultural.
Winners will be decided by overall performance, and not by category.
There is also a Best Presenter trophy.
Nowhere in Malaysia can you experience this much marketing knowledge at one go, some call it a marketing MBA packed cleverly into a 2-day schedule.

MARKETING Magazine is not responsible for the content of external sites.
After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.
We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTT, DOOH, influencer marketing, retail, etc.
Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.
Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.
Collaboration is key: partnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
