Its a new era for the top management at Mercedes with the recent departure of Dieter Zetsche.
BMW has always had a healthy respect for Mercedes and this cheeky yet classy jibe definitely hits the spot.
This video from BMW, titled “Retirement is about exploring your wide open future,” is about just that.
The video is a touching tribute to Dr. Z, as he bids farewell to his employees and gets into a S-Class Mercedes.
Once he reaches home, it’s time for a leisurely drive, and for a moment it looks like he’s going to drive away in a vintage Mercedes.
That’s when the unexpected happens. Kudos to BMW for this great ad.
