Malaysia’s leading online marketplace launches more than 100,000 fashion and travel deals in conjunction with Ramadan
Mudah.my, Malaysia’s largest online marketplace, has partnered with some of Malaysia’s most exciting fashions talents to push local brands forward in its latest Raya campaign.
The move is aimed at providing local brands with a platform to reach out to a wider Malaysian audience during the festive season.
Combining heritage with a modern twist, local fashion entrepreneurs are offering the market a unique take on traditional clothing and fashion accessories this season.
Brands such as Hipster by Zery Zamry, Benua Clothing by Altimet and Anaabu by Farhana Abu Sanah are offering their latest Raya collections at festive prices, exclusively on Mudah.my.
Other prominent names onboard the company’s Raya campaign include Pestle & Mortar, Sazzy Falak, and BangBang by Caprice.
With the theme “Raya Ini, Semua Pun Mudah”, the leading online marketplace is geared up to serve as the nation’s one stop solution for all Raya related items this season.
In conjunction with Ramadan, Mudah.my will be bringing more than 100,000 new and used fashion deals for men and women, alongside exclusive travel deals.
“The inspiration for the ‘Raya Ini, Semua Pun Mudah’ campaign is really to help Malaysians make their Raya more memorable.
“Our campaigns are also driven by our users’ needs – one of the categories we have observed a spike in during the season is fashion, as users tend to search online for their baju raya.
“Hence, this year we decided to collaborate with local fashion entrepreneurs to offer our users a unique take on the traditional baju raya”, said Andrew Pinto, Head of Marketing at Mudah.my.
The online marketplace is also offering a 10% discount for ferry, bus and train tickets through their partnership with Easybook.com.
Users who spot the Mudah Exclusive logo on Booking.com can also enjoy attractive hotel stays, making it easier to plan for a break from the festivities this season.
“Our goal is to be your one-stop solution for your needs during Ramadan. Whether it is to purchase kitchen appliances for kuih raya, or “upgrade” your vehicle before balik kampung, Mudah.my has got you covered.
During festive seasons, it is also common for Malaysians to spring clean to make way for new purchases. Mudah.my offers the opportunity to sell their unused items by encouraging Malaysians to declutter on top of providing an avenue to make a little more duit raya,” said Gaurav Basin, Chief Executive Officer at Mudah.my.
The campaign also included the award winning #GoodbyeGoodBuy video, which encourages young Malaysians to bid goodbye to items that they have outgrown – such as computers, mobile phones, shoes, clothes and even old toys – that can be turned into someone else’s good buy.
The video has received positive response on social media with more than 14 million views on YouTube to date. Mudah.my also composed a Raya song called “Aku Balik Kampung” featuring Manbai, Amir Jahari, Kayda Aziz & NSSN, which to-date has garnered more than 217,000 views on YouTube.
