True success lies in partnerships

Three years in Malaysia, Httpool remains a crucial player in the digital marketing ecosystem, building on strong relationships with partners, clients and encouraging employees to grow.

Contributing to the local digital advertising ecosystem and supporting growth of local businesses in Malaysia are two core goals of Twitter’s official ad sales partner in Malaysia. Three years in the market, the company has already become the go-to partner for advertisers wishing to make the most of their digital campaigns.

Being a part of a global company with over 20 years of experience in more than 30 markets, the team in Malaysia relies on support, training and experience of colleagues from all around the world. But the #HttpoolMYWondergirlz, as team members call themselves, are also completely autonomous, and extremely entrepreneurial in their way of working.

Over 36 months, Httpool concluded new important partnerships for the company’s portfolio in Myanmar: Lifesight, GrabAds, and Opera. Acting not only as resellers but also as advisors to agencies and brands, the Httpool team helps create successful campaigns that drive results and underpin businesses.

Locally, they now support over 110 clients consisting of top brands across verticals such as QSR, Telco, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Energy & Utilities, Automotive and Retail.

“It’s been a crazy year for all of us here in the L’Oréal team, but nonetheless, we survived during this pandemic situation, and we are grateful that Httpool supported us during this moment. Next year will be an important year for all of us to grow the consideration funnel, and we understand that Twitter can deliver best results for us. For example, the VTR we gained from our campaign on Twitter was 60% – unarguably higher than what we saw on  any other social platform” said Amos Lee, Digital Director, Wavemaker Malaysia.

“It has been an amazing journey for TNB on Twitter and Httpool was there every step of the way. Looking forward to more great and impactful campaigns” commented Ameen Harun, Senior Manager, Digital Communication and Analytics.

“Team Httpool has been of great help in getting out our Twitter Strategy for McDonald’s Malaysia since February 2019. Their fast turnaround time and dedication in getting my team to be up to speed about advertising on Twitter is very much appreciated” said  Dorothy Fong, Founder & CEO of IDOTYOU.

Support to local agencies and advertisers is also evident through education activities that Httpool is implementing in Malaysia. One of such events was the recent inaugural Twitter Flight School session in Malaysia with the largest international agency partners IPG Mediabrands, GroupM & Dentsu Aegis Network. Over 200 marketing specialists benefited from first-hand knowledge and exclusive insights into making the most of advertising on Twitter.

“We have enjoyed a successful partnership with Httpool over many years. They have been incredible partners to the amazing success of Twitter in SEA and have added tremendous incremental value. Can’t wait to see continued momentum and success as we move into 2021!” said  Arvinder Gujral – Managing Director of Southeast Asia, Twitter.

“Partnerships are core to all that we do. They are what makes us unique and what keeps us growing, even in these unprecedented times. We practice the principle of partnerships at all levels: with our media partners, and clients, but also with our teams.” explains Meera Thuriavel, Httpool Managing Director in Malaysia. Meera is a successful marketer and leader with experience from event management, PR launches and conferences to offline Media and anchoring, in addition to digital advertising.

“Httpool is a top-notch data partner helping Lifesight in business growth and generating revenues in the India and SEA region. Our collaboration has helped further support brands and agencies and we are looking forward to more such collaborations in the near future” said Sangeeth Krishna – Country Manager, SEA for Lifesight

“Httpool Malaysia has scored a perfect ten over these three years. It has grown exponentially, giving me a lot of pride in the team and its achievements. We all have worked hard towards creating a niche for ourselves to scale at this height. I am sure this force will only increase over the years,” states Sunny Nagpal, Co-founder, and Regional Managing Director, Httpool APAC.
