Polling day causes Brandfest to change dates to 14 & 15 May 2018
The Brandfest, an annual Brand Marketing forum that delivers up-to-date Ideas, Insights and Information to C-Suites, brand marketers, corporate communication professionals and consultants has now been postponed to 14 & 15 May 2018.
“We moved the 15th Brandfest by a few days because the GE14 polling day fell on day 2 (May 9) of the original forum dates. We appreciate the fact that a good number of delegates and speakers have decided to cast their votes,” said its organiser and content curator Raghunath.
He also added that there will be no change in the programme and speaker line-up. Delegates who have registered will have their reservations transferred to the new dates which fall on a Monday and Tuesday.
With seats running out fast, Raghunath encourages those who are interested in participating to sign-up as soon as possible. He added that the content to be delivered will help to rethink and refresh an organisation’s business and brand marketing plans.

After 20 years of evolving technology, shifting market trends, and adapting to changing consumer behaviour, the media landscape has nearly reached saturation.
We’ve optimised to the fullest, providing advertisers with abundant choices across technology, platforms, data-driven marketing, CTV, OTT, DOOH, influencer marketing, retail, etc.
Media specialists have diversified, but with more options comes the challenge of maintaining income growth. The industry is expanding, but revenue isn’t keeping pace.
Now, we’re at a TURNING POINT: time to explore and harness new sustainable revenue streams. While GroupM forecasts a 7.8% global ad revenue growth in 2024, challenges like antitrust regulation, AI and copyright issues, and platform bans persist.
Collaboration is key: partnerships that thrive on synergy, shared values, and aligned goals are becoming increasingly essential.
Hence, the Malaysian Media Conference, in its 20th year, has assembled the partners and players under one roof on October 25 for a day of learning, sharing, and exploring.
