BSN together with its agency Fishermen Integrated has introduced three new singing sensations through its latest Chinese New Year ad.
In the ad released on BSN’s YouTube and Facebook pages the three #Themuhibros sing the classic CNY song ‘gong xi gong xi’. The ad takes a humours spin by providing a Malaysian interpretation to the song lyrics.
Overall Malaysians seem to have had a positive response towards the ad, which also features BSN’s famous ‘Kuching Happy’ making a cameo. According to the agency the ad has so far received over 135,000 views, 3,340 engagement and 590 shares online in 2 days.

Speaking to MARKETING on the campaign Andrew Tan, Creative Director, Fishermen Integrated shared,
“During Chinese New Year, the “Gong Xi, Gong Xi” song is undoubtedly the most played song in every shopping mall and on the airwaves. While most Malaysians would have heard it, we realised there is little understanding of the meaning behind it. From this insight, we seized the opportunity to help Malaysians understand this occasion even more, in an entertaining way.”
