History repeats itself, Trapper Media Group rated by RECMA as number 1 agency!
Trapper Media Group has created history! RECMA has rated the agency #1 in exposure to top 3 clients for 2017. As well as being in the top 10 media agencies in Malaysia for the second consecutive year. A total of 17 agencies were evaluated with only 2 independents, the remaining 15 are international affiliates.

The RECMA findings showed that Trapper Media Group had a 28% accumulated growth for the past 3 years as well as a 15% growth on client portfolio. The agency was ranked #3 in new biz balance i.e. account moves in 2017, leaps ahead of other international and independent agencies. The big wins for Trapper Media Group was through the acquisition of clients such as PETRON, VIU and Goodyear. The agency clocked a whopping RM89 million in annualised billings in 2017 – a huge triumph for a made in Malaysia agency!
Trapper Media Group was ranked #4 in RECMA’s Vitality score, which ranks agencies in terms on competitiveness in pitches as well as growth in client participation. ‘This is a validation of the agency’s drive for growth while ensuring the best media solutions for our clients,’ said Christopher Phang, Group General Manager.
