Malaysia Airlines Bhd is collaborating with Expedia, Grab and Maxis to offer more benefits under MHexplorer, the airline’s fully digitalised student programme.
Malaysia Airlines group chief revenue officer Ignatius Ong said through the partnership, MHexplorer has expanded to include more than just flight tickets, as members would now be able to enjoy 8% and 10% discounts on stays at domestic and international hotels, respectively.
“The benefits also include transportation to airports via Grab as MHexplorer members will be able to enjoy an 8% discount on Grab cars to/from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Penang International Airport, Senai International Airport, Kuching International Airport and Kota Kinabalu International Airport,” said Ong.
He added that MHexplorer members can also save RM120 when they sign up for a Hotlink Flex Plus plan, which comes with 10GB data and unlimited calls and SMS.
“The plan, which originally costs RM60 per month, will now only be RM50 per month over a duration of 12 months,” he said.
Meanwhile, Grab Malaysia head of operations Rashid Shukor said Grab is honoured to serve as Malaysia Airlines’ dedicated land transport partner for the MHexplorer programme.
“We are always on the lookout for partnerships that allow us to solve local problems and add value to our passengers.
