Saki Goh, former marketing director at L’Oréal is now heading up the marketing division at GCH Retail, a subsidiary of Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited.
As the marketing director at GCH Retail Saki will be in charge of the company’s four key brands Giant, Cold Storage, Mercato and Jason’s Food Hall, which covers the mass to super premium market segmentation.
An experienced marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in the FMCG industry, prior to L’Oréal Saki has held senior leadership roles at global companies including Unilever and Johnson & Johnson
In her new role, she will be overseeing the entire marketing function for the group, from brand positioning, consumer insights, media, digital, loyalty program, trade and promotional activities.
Saki will be reporting to Dato Tim Ashdown, GCH Retail’s Regional Director for Malaysia and Brunei.
Sharing her thoughts with MARKETING on moving from cosmetics to retail, Saki shared that she was looking forward to being in the forefront of action being able to serve over 2 million of Malaysian shoppers in their stores every week.
Saki added that she will now be able to fully discover the consumer’s current needs and get an overview of future trends in every segment.
