The Sharing Economy Program is a national initiative by the Malaysian government in support of MDEC’s efforts to promote economic growth through innovation, technology adoption, and investment in digital infrastructure.
The platform was created with an aim to create a robust network of services that can benefit freelancers and employers.
This partnership between Gigple and MDEC will help accelerate the development of the Gigs online services while providing immense opportunities for Malaysians to benefit from this innovative new business model.
In addition to the Sharing Economy Program, Gigple is also partnering with MDEC on the eRezeki project which aims at increasing incomes for Malaysians in low-income brackets by providing them access to quality jobs across a diverse range of industries including Marketing and Comms.
Through this project, Gigple will enable users to connect through its platform for job opportunities that are tailored made for their preferences – giving individuals more flexibility in choosing their work hours and location while enabling employers access talent in a timely manner.
