A new regional dimsum FEAST!

dimsum , the video-on-demand subscription service by The Star Media Group, has launched its first branded VOD content from Oh!K, a Turner Asia Pacific channel. This, according to the company, is part of dimsum’s plan of bringing trending Korean entertainment content to its subscribers in Malaysia and Brunei.

Oh!K will provide Korean drama fans with access to award-winning series and hit shows across the region. Some of the launch titles include She Was Pretty, Happy Once Again, Marriage Contract and more. The content will be available in original Korean and Mandarin, and will carry multiple language subtitles.

Speaking on their latest offering Lam Swee Kim, dimsum’s Chief Marketing Officer shared, “We are pleased to have regional and global partners like Turner on dimsum as we continue to grow our content offerings. The partnership will enhance our Korean drama genre on dimsum.”

“This new service offers audiences some of the most entertaining and popular titles from Oh!K,” added Mr Phil Nelson, Managing Director of Turner in Southeast Asia. “We are looking forward to working with dimsum to share some of the best storytelling – and most famous on-screen talent – from Korea with viewers in Malaysia and Brunei.”

Earlier in March dimsum announced its partnership with five international media networks- CITVC (China), Shanghai Wings Media Co,.Ltd (China), TV Asahi (Japan), MediaQuiz (Hong Kong) and MediaCorp (Singapore).

Now available on Chromecast and AirPlay, users can watch their favourite movies on dimsum’s app or website (www.dimsum.my) for a monthly subscription of RM15.
