(Marketingmagazine.com.my) – CtrlShift is entering a new growth phase with several key appointments in its senior management team. Deepika Nikhilender, who joined earlier this year as Managing Director, has been appointed as the agency’s new CEO.
With over 20 years of experience in media, prior to joining CtrlShift, she led the Asia Business Planning practice at Mindshare, providing communication strategies leveraging Research, Analytics & Data. She was also the CEO of Growth & Emerging Markets Solutions (GEMS), part of Mindshare Asia-Pacific. As the agency’s new CEO Deepika is responsible for growing and managing CtrlShift’s businesses in APAC and beyond.
The company also hired Shelly Maneth formerly the CFO of ConneXionsAsia, as the agency’s new CFO and Serm Teck Choon, currently CtrlShift’s Head of Product, has been given the additional responsibility of Country Head of Malaysia. In March this year, he was also named President of the Malaysian Digital Association. Before joining CtrlShift, Serm led digital product development and management for Star Media Group.
Former CEO and Co-founder Rene E. Menezes will join fellow Co-founders Pete Yoong and Reza Behnam on the CtrlShift Holdings Board of Directors. The significant addition to senior leadership talent sets the stage for aggressive growth in the region.
