Advanced ticket sales for “Avengers: Endgame” have already smashed industry records, so it’s no surprise that the Marvel movie is expected to rake in nearly USD$300 million its first weekend.
Cinemas continue to add showtimes to meet demand, and tickets for the movie, the fourth in the series, are being resold for astronomical prices on sites like eBay.
Brands, naturally, are trying to catch a piece of the action. Here, a small sampling:
Audi
The luxury car brand, a sponsor of the film’s premier, released a digital short depicting Captain Marvel’s return to earth. The short ends by showcasing the brand’s new Audi e-tron, which will launch in the U.S. next month. “Avengers: Endgame” features both the Audi R8 and Audi e-tron.Play Video

Mastercard, Marvel Studios and Stand Up To Cancer
Mastercard and Marvel have joined forces with Stand Up To Cancer in a PSA campaign that focuses on real-life superheroes: cancer survivors. It encompasses print, TV, radio, digital and out-of-home advertising, and was produced by L Associates, a Hollywood shop that focuses on entertainment brands.
