Google Launches Advertising Revenue Lab Malaysia to Accelerate Digital News

Google today announced the launch of the Google News Initiative’s Advertising Revenue Lab Malaysia, supported by the Ministry of Communications. This comprehensive program is designed to empower small and medium-sized news publishers in Malaysia and equip local newsrooms with the tools and knowledge to thrive in the evolving media landscape.

The Advertising Revenue Lab Malaysia is the latest addition to a series of Google News Initiative (GNI) programs working directly with publishers of all sizes to enhance their digital advertising capabilities and foster sustainable business models.

This program will focus on providing technical and product training, as well as hands-on support for optimizing websites, improving audience engagement and growing advertising revenue. By participating in the Advertising Revenue Lab Malaysia, newsrooms will gain valuable insights and strategies to grow their digital advertising revenues, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality news to communities across Malaysia.
