Lazada Malaysia appoints Schrene Goh as CMO

Schrene Goh is set to spearhead marketing at Lazada Malaysia as their Chief Marketing Officer. The former Pos Malaysia EVP of Marketing will be reporting to the Co-founder of Lazada, Magnus Ekbom.

An accomplished and extremely talented marketer in Malaysia, Schrene was the recipient of the Gold award for Marketing Trailblazer in Digital during last year’s Malaysian CMO Awards. Whilst at the helm of marketing at Pos Malaysia, Schrene transformed the traditional ways of marketing at the company with her digital and mobile-first approach, thus giving the brand the makeover it needed to keep up with the demands of the constantly growing logistics market.

Prior to Pos Malaysia, Schrene was the Head of Marketing at Malaysia Airlines, where she led the team that developed the “Malaysian Hospitality Begins With Us” brand campaign. During her time at Malaysia Airlines, Schrene was responsible for brand building, generating revenue through e-commerce, digital marketing, innovation of products and services among other things.

During her illustrious career, Schrene has also led marketing, communications, brand and digital at U Mobile, prior to which she was at AirAsia, as the vanguard of marketing for the entire ASEAN network including the Indian market.
