Directors Think Tank Group (DTT) just announced that Stephen Douglas will be rejoining the team as Executive Director, a newly created position in the production house.
‘We’re extremely delighted to have Stephen rejoining our team during this exciting phase of growth and development as bringing someone of his caliber back into the DTT fold increases our capability and allows us to spread our wings even further, both regionally and internationally,” DTT Co-founder and director, Maurice Noone said. “Whilst we’ve remained busy shooting and producing award-winning work for our agency and client partners, we’ve also been focusing on improving our craft even further and deepening our knowledge of the latest cutting-edge techniques and technologies.”
DTT has also hired a number of young talents, which according to Maurice, bolsters the team and enhances the creative edge that sets the production house apart.
“But now it’s important to prepare for the future when the economy rebounds and the borders finally open,” DTT’s Executive Producer, Pat Singh said. “Our creative platforms and talent are already back in action with the aim of further establishing Malaysia and SE Asia as the preferred shooting location destination.”
Pat Singh also added that Stephen’s trademark passion, drive and energy will have a positive effect on their culture and business.
“Accepting the opportunity to return to my friends at DTT was really a no-brainer as I’ve spent the last six years in Asia building strong, enduring relationships,” Douglas said. “After some time out in Australia, I’m returning to the region I call home with a renewed fire in my belly and I’m very much looking forward to helping DTT and our clients and agency partners make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead and achieve even greater success and accolades.”
Campaign Brief’s ‘The Work’ 2020, recently named Directors Think Tank APAC Production Company of the Year, and the production house was also named Production Company of the Year in both Malaysia and Indonesia for the last two years.
