shopper360 bags advertising agreement for NTUC FairPrice supermarkets
Malaysian marketing service shopper 360 bagged an agreement to provide in store advertising services to consumer brands at 68 NTUC FairPrice supermarkets.
This will be done through its subsidiary ShopperPlus Singapore which will be the exclusive provider of in-store digital and traditional advertising to fast moving consumer goods (FCMG) at the supermarkets.
The objective is to increase brand awareness, retention and repeat purchases among consumers while promoting NTUC FairPrice as the preferred retail chain.
Under the agreement, ShopperPlus Singapore will secure media space from NTUC FairPrice and install and maintain in-store advertising mediums for FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) customers. Mediums include digital and non-digital media formats.
The agreement is shopper360’s first with a supermarket chain in Singapore. The group is well-established in Malaysia, where it provides access to in-store advertising in over 2,840 retail outlets across 184 towns.
“We are very excited as this agreement with NTUC FairPrice is a significant development in the group’s growth plans to gain a foothold in the Singapore market,” Chew Sue Ann, shopper360’s executive chairman and group managing director, said. “We look forward to building a strong legacy and partnership with them in Singapore.”
shopper360’s was first established in 1986 and its clients in Malaysia include Nestlé, Colgate-Palmolive, Samsung and Huawei.
To expand shopper360’s presence in Singapore, the group said it hopes to leverage its longstanding relationships with FMCG clients in Malaysia that are also in charge of the Singapore market.
