Previously with Pepsico Lee Lim Meng has taken on the role of Marketing Director of Consumer Products Division for L’Oréal taking over the role previously held by Saki Goh.
Reporting to CD GM, Manashi GUHA. She will be overseeing L’Oréal Paris and Garnier brands.
Having first started her career on the agency side, having worked with Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB, Lim Meng then joined the FMCG industry in 2009 as Senior Brand Manager in Kraft and moved to China as a Project Manager for the Snack Category in Kraft China.
Lim Meng then joined Reckitt Benkiser in China as Senior Brand Manager for Latin & Asia, overseeing the Dettol brand for 21 countries. She returned to Malaysia in January 2015 with Pepsico and has been there since as Marketing Manager for Total Beverage.
In a statement to MARKETING on her appointment, the company shared:
“With her expertise in FMCG and more particular in the food channel, we are certain that Lim Meng will contribute to accelerate our conquest in this channel in order to gain market shares in Shampoo and Skin Care. She will also work closely with all departments (Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance and Demand planning) in order to unify all our efforts on the same priorities across all channels.”
