Farewell message from CEO of Big Tree

Through a lifelong journey of professional self-discovery, I am always looking for who I have not become and what more I could offer to the industry.

Since the Out-Of-Home (OOH)industry is borderless, I have decided to expand beyond the horizons and will take up the reins of another media company with a focus in Indochina.

Thus, I would be departing from the Media Prima Group and Big Tree after a service of 17 years.

The decision has not been easy to make and I leave with mixed emotions. I am grateful and honoured to have been given the trust to lead Big Tree and sincerely thank the Board, colleagues, staff as well as respected clients for supporting me throughout my time with the Group.

I have enjoyed the dynamics of working with you whilst always trying positively influence one another, and I do hope I have been successful in instilling a valuable impact on your life.

To continue the momentum of firmly positioning Big Tree as Malaysia’s leading OOH solutions provider, Mohamad Shukor Ariffin, Chief Operating Officer of Big Tree will be responsible for the overall operations and expansion of the core business of the company, parallel to Media Prima’s vision and business blueprint.

With his streak of success of over 14 years in Big Tree, I say with certainty that Shukor will spur the growth of Big Tree to momentous levels.
