(marketingmagazine.com.my) – Commercial Radio Malaysia (CRM) will be organising their signature conference entitled “What? Radio is already Digital?” on Wednesday, 19th October at 2pm to 5pm at Nexus Auditorium for marketing, branding, communications, media and advertising industry professionals.
The highpoint of this conference, in collaboration with GfK Malaysia, CRM will be releasing an industry report for the second half of 2016 by Lee Risk, Commercial Director APAC, Media, GfK Asia (pictured). It will share what’s different and what’s new with the GfK measurement system and how Malaysian radio has performed with regard to listenership and engagement with its audience.
“It’s been a few years since Malaysian radio used just one radio measurement currency, and this time it’s with GfK Malaysia. We have the highest participation from 22 member radio stations this time around, and we have worked with GFK to introduce new ways of getting listener data, including the use of online diaries. We believe the results will be more robust, and best of all, it’s one common currency,” remarked CRM president Jake Abdullah.
On the second part of the conference, radio futurologist James Cridland will describe how broadcasting has changed, how it is happening and how innovative broadcasters are responding.
“The digitalisation of Malaysian radio is not some far-off- in-the-future thing; it’s already here. But now it’s time to shout a little bit about Malaysian radio’s digital present and what we have in store for the future,” said CRM Conference Chairman, Malek Ali.
The conference will culminate with a panel session of Malaysia’s radio leaders talking about their digital capabilities, what they can deliver for listeners and advertisers today.
This will be ideal for participants to maximise the impact of advertising through digital platforms. To register for the conference click here
