In an internal memo sighted by MARKETING, Media Prima Bhd has announced the resignations of its group chief financial officer Farnida Ngah and Media Prima Television Networks (MPTN) chief executive officer Johan Ishak.
Both of them have been part of Media Prima since 2009.
Media Prima’s director of group affairs Datuk Iskandar Mizal Mahmood will head MPTN. Meanwhile Rosli Sabarudin has been appointed deputy group chief financial officer.
Rosli was formerly group general manager in the finance department. He started his career at Tenaga Nasional Bhd in various roles and later joined Media Prima in 2012.
Rosli has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance and management. His role at Media Prima includes being the financial controller for TV3/STMB and Primeworks Studios Sdn Bhd.
He obtained a degree in accounting from Wellington University in New Zealand in 1988 and is a fellow at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Media Prima recently recorded growth on their online platforms.
