Nike’s latest ad for the Women’s World Cup

Nike’s big advertising push for women’s football is well underway with its latest video that captures the wave of empowerment and exceptional feats of female athletes.

According to The Drum, the elite players featured in the advertisement are joined by 10-year-old Makena Cook, an aspiring footballer who they lead on a heart-pumping tour of the professional game to the soundtrack of Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ Bad Reputation.

Wieden+Kennedy, created the advertisement, and it builds on the ‘Dream Crazier’ momentum that has been a hallmark of its latest push towards highlighting the amazing feats of its athletes.

The Women’s World Cup kicks off on the 7th of June, and it’s definitely going to be an engrossing tournament.
