This Discovery Edition of the Malaysian CMO Awards celebrates 19 deserving CMOs who have never won before.

The shortlisting and finalising of winners was done by industry award-winning peers who served as stringent pre-qualifiers, adding more prestige to the already high standards. They joined the quest for excellence and brought their prowess to the process.

In the elite ambience of the Malaysian Petroleum Club, 19 deserving winners were accoladed with the Malaysian CMO Awards 2024. They were selected by their peers as deemed worthy of a new level of recognition and were honoured by the industry in an exclusive Induction Ceremony witnessed by the finest in the business.

The induction ceremony for all winners was on April 25, 2025 and held at the iconic Malaysian Petroleum Club in Tower 2, Petronas Twin Towers.

Emcee Extraordinaire Chacko George Vadaketh inspired the proceedings with his unique style of world-class delivery.

Fiona Liao is an innovative and forward-thinking marketer with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as the Group Chief Marketing, Communications, and Sustainability Officer at Pos Malaysia, she has been instrumental in revitalizing the brand since 2022.

Prior to this, she spent over 13 years at Prudential Assurance Malaysia where she led awardwinning initiatives like the Gold Effie-winning PRUmy Child campaign and was recognised as one of the 50 Most Talented CMOs at the 2013 World Marketing Summit.

For Navin Manian, success is rooted in the power of numbers. Inspired by his mathematician father, he believes numbers tell stories that unlock creativity and bold decision-making.

Ravi Shankar Mallavarapu is a versatile and innovative marketing professional with a diverse skill set that spans across branding, customer experience, data science, AI, growth, technology, and commercial.

He brings over 15 years of experience to his current role as Chief Marketing Officer of AirAsia MOVE, where he played a key role in rebranding the AirAsia Superapp into AirAsia MOVE.

Ravi has a proven track record of success for companies in the APAC region. Before taking the helm at AirAsia MOVE, he played a key role within the AirAsia airline group and CARSOME, where he contributed to strategic marketing initiatives.

As a leader, Ravi also played a pivotal role in transforming AirAsia’s traditional marketing team into a growth marketing team as the company first pivoted to a super App.
