CMO Awards 2024 Discovery Edition Announces Winners!

After six years of celebrating marketing excellence, the organisers of the Malaysian CMO (Chief Marketing Officers) Awards are running a Discovery Edition this year. This year’s Discovery Edition opened its doors to new candidates who have never won before.

This edition also pays a special tribute to high-achievers who delivered marketing excellence, regardless of the size of their companies or budgets.

Previous winners were asked to propose their best choices based on their reading of the marketplace.

The shortlisting of possible winners by industry peers who have already achieved award-winning success served a key pre-qualifier, adding more value to the evaluation standards.

They joined our quest for excellence and brought their prowess to the process.

Criteria

  1. Marketing Performance: (30%) Campaign Objective. Campaign Strategy. Campaign Success. Campaign Uniqueness.
  2. Business Performance: (30%) Revenue growth, profitability. Market share, expansion. Brand equity, traction. Customer satisfaction, acquisition.
  3. Leadership Performance: (30%) Strategic Brand Vision. Team Building & Culture. Tech Optimisation. Growth Sustainability. ESG factors.
  4. Popularity Performance: (10%) Online poll with MARKETING magazine’s readers, based on “Marketers I’d like to work with”.

The selection process involved a combination of peer nominations, industry performance, and the influence these individuals have across their respective sectors, highlighting those who are making significant impacts with innovative campaigns, creative leadership and driving real growth.

TIME TO ENTER APPIES

The APPIES is an annual event that presents a rare opportunity for creative, media, digital and marketing agencies or brands to present their best campaigns to the industry.

This is the only event where Live Presentations meets Live Judging.

Similar to TED Talks, The APPIES is the chance for great presenters with outstanding work to show it off to some of the industry’s most important industry leaders.

This year’s winners will receive Gold, Silver or Bronze trophies for 21 categories, and 6 special Best of Best categories (red trophies) that require no submissions!
