CMO Awards Discovery edition gathers speed as new high achievers enter the play

After six years of celebrating marketing excellence, the organisers of the Malaysian CMO (Chief Marketing Officers) Awards are running a Discovery Edition this year.

This year’s Discovery Edition opens its doors to new candidates who have never won before.

“We are ready to take things to the next level by looking for new high achievers in the field. Fame is a key driver of success in our field, and I’m committed to spotlighting leaders who deserve recognition,” says Prof Harmandar Singh aka Ham, President of the Malaysian CMO Awards.

It will also seek out marketing leaders from SME/SMIs with annual revenues of RM50 million and below.

“We wish to tribute amazing marketing minds who deliver marketing excellence, regardless of the size of their companies or budgets.”

CMO Awards winners from last year were invited to submit their nominations, and the submission process has already begun for more than 20 candidates in this Discovery Edition.

This shortlisting of possible winners by industry peers who have already achieved award-winning success adds a key pre-qualifier to the awards. Plus it embraces an inclusive spirit to progress together, a collectiveness already prevalent at the Malaysian CMO Awards.

Past Malaysian CMO winners have gone on to head companies and sit on boards. Many have also expanded their roles to include regional and Asia footprints. The CMO award is more than an award,

it is the stepping stone to a sustainable career in leadership and success, projecting a powerful marketing mindset to the forefront of growth.

Judging is slated to begin next week.

The winners for the coming Malaysian CMO awards will be announced in mid February and the Awards Induction ceremony evening will held at the Malaysian Petroleum Club on March 26, 2025.
