Called ‘Differences Aside,’ the series premieres on 22nd Dec, on YouTube, Facebook
A new short web series is set on a mission to make the world a better place by advocating the message of putting our differences aside.
The web series, aptly named “Differences Aside”, is the brainchild of a collaboration between integrated strategic communications agency ISC Innovators and the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA).
Featuring nine participants from different countries and backgrounds, `Differences Aside,’ is set to premiere this Friday, December 22nd on the Naturally Langkawi YouTube and Facebook pages.
In this web series, nine strangers from across the globe come together on the island of Langkawi to show how the world should be by putting their differences aside
Integrated strategic communications agency, ISC Innovators, in collaboration with the Langkawi Development Authority (LADA), is releasing this thought-provoking series of online episodes with the simple message that in order to make this world a better place, we need to put our differences aside.
“We hope that our nine visitors’ unique bonding “immersion” in Langkawi and Malaysia’s history, culture, cuisine and way of life, will show the world the true value of putting our “Differences Aside”, states Dato Haji Azizan bin Noordin, Chief Executive Officer of Langkawi Development Authority (LADA).
With the legendary island of Langkawi as its setting, the series brings together nine participants from different parts of the world, representing a variety of cultures, races, languages and religions, over a span of 12 days for an exhilarating adventure of discovery.
The nine visitors hail from Australia, China, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, U.A.E (Dubai), United Kingdom and the United States of America and, of course, Malaysia. Strangers to one another, they will be focusing on their differences and similarities as they explore the beauty and excitement of Langkawi.
“While this series gives us an opportunity to showcase the beauty of Langkawi and what our country has to offer, “Differences Aside” is more than that. It’s meant to embody the true and deeper meaning of “Malaysia: Truly Asia,” adds Paul Lingan, Executive Creative Director of ISC Innovators.
“It showcases the nation’s harmony in diversity, as well as conveys the powerful message that we can make this world a better place for all of us, especially our children.”
Watch out for “Differences Aside” on Friday, 22nd December on the Naturally Langkawi YouTube (youtube.com/NaturallyLangkawi) and Facebook. Stay tuned to the Facebook or www.naturallylangkawi.my to find out more about the series.
