(Marketingmagazine.com.my) – Asia Pacific’s leading media Intelligence company Isentia (ASX:ISD) has appointed Pamela Yap as Regional Director, Southeast Asia.
With more than 20 years of experience in the media, advertising, and marketing sector, Pamela will be responsible for managing Isentia’s operations and driving business expansion across the Southeast Asia region.
As a key member of the Asia Leadership Team, Pamela will oversee markets with P&L responsibilities including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Drawing on her strengths as a creator of value generating relationships, she is looking forward to forging new agreements with complimentary businesses to strengthen the organic growth of Isentia in ASEAN countries.
Bringing energy and focus to Isentia, Pamela describes her new role as “an exciting opportunity to enhance industry benchmarks across media monitoring, analysis and social insights while delivering strategic recommendations that impact our clients’ daily business decisions.”
Prior to joining Isentia, Pamela served as Group Chief Commercial Officer at The Star Media Group in Kuala Lumpur where she oversaw the development and execution of “future-proof” growth strategies and spearheaded the growth of new-to-group revenue through various local, regional and international partnerships.
As Founder, Investor and Advisor at PT Maximum Impact Investment Group in Indonesia, her leadership drove innovative new business models and growth in several emerging markets across Southeast Asia.
Pamela joins seven other newly appointed General Managers across the region. Over the last quarter, Isentia has named Thomas Wong as General Manager – Greater China, Garick Kea as General Manager – Singapore, Kym Edullantes as General Manager – Philippines, Thai Thi Kim Lanh as General Manager – Vietnam, Lie Luciana Budiman as General Manager – Indonesia and Joe Chan as General Manager – Thailand.
In addition to her role as Regional Director, Pamela will also serve as the General Manager of Malaysia.
