Marrybrown in partnership with foodpanda sold 48,866 pieces of fried chicken, setting a record for “The Most Fried Chicken Pieces Sold Through a Delivery Platform in a Day” in the Malaysia Book of Records

Marrybrown, one of the world’s leading halal quick-service restaurant (QSR) brands, marks its 45th anniversary by successfully selling 48,866 pieces of fried chicken within two hours via its online delivery partner, foodpanda; landing them in the Malaysia Book of Records for “The Most Fried Chicken Pieces Sold Through a Delivery Platform in a Day”.
Marrybrown’s Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Chan, credited the record to the unwavering support of their customers and a show of dedication from the teams involved: “We had initially targeted 10,000 pieces of fried chicken at the end of two hours. However, demand skyrocketed, going into the thousands in a matter of minutes.
I am proud of both the Marrybrown and foodpanda teams who worked tirelessly to ensure our customers’ enjoyment of our great tasting fried chicken stays uninterrupted.
