Moving Walls joins Unilever Foundry 30

The 30 chosen startups were announced just before the Millennial 20/20 2017 APAC Summit in Singapore.

The startups, known as the Unilever Foundry 30 SEAA (for Southeast Asia and Australasia), will get access to Unilever’s brands and the Level3 co-working facilities housed in the company’s Singapore headquarters.

They will also receive mentorship, guidance, and collaboration opportunities from Unilever and its partners.

Moving Walls founder Srikanth Ramachandran (picture) said, “We believe that collaboration knows no boundaries. This is a remarkably effective way to pilot disruptive, technology-based innovations for globally renowned brands.”

The companies are in different stages in their growth, not just early-stage, and come from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, and even Europe and the US.

The sectors are retail, media and advertising, brand and content innovation, data insights and personalization, and sustainability and social impact.

According to Barbara Guerpillon, Unilever Foundry Manager for Southeast Asia and Australia, “Unilever is looking for startups in the media and advertising category that are scalable at a regional level first and then at a global level, disruptive and bring innovative solutions to marketers, brands and functions.”

Moving Walls is the only company from Malaysia in the top 30 list.
