The NexGen Show Episode 9 Tackles The Advertiser’s Worst Fears

In a digital world where content turnover gets faster, and algorithms become increasingly unpredictable, where do advertisers land?

In Episode 9 of The NexGen Show, young graphic designer Jean Elliessa dives into some hard truths about this era of disposable advertising.

“It feels a little demotivating to create a visual that might be forgotten in the next month,” she confesses, “but that is why you’ve got to keep churning out new ideas and new visuals.

Hosted by Malaysian advertising veteran Prof. Harmandar Singh from MARKETING Magazine, the episode confronts an advertiser’s worst fears — from job security to the dreaded social media algorithm.

“The algorithm is basically playing with audiences, so we need to stay updated with what audiences like the most,” she shares.

Listen to these insights and more every Sunday, 7PM on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube.
