CMCF seeks public opinion

The Communications and Multimedia Content Forum of Malaysia (CMCF) is undertaking a public consultation in proposing four ammendments to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Code.

The ammendments are the classification of broadcast content, scheduling of classified programmes, applicable free-to-air and Pay TV broadcasters, introduction of a new provision to strengthen privacy requirements in line with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and to allow the airing of advertisements for slimming products and services subject to the approval by the Medicine Advertisements Board, Ministry of Health (MoH).

To this end the CMCF is seeking the public’s feedback to finalise the proposed amendments to the Content Code. To give your views log on to www.cmcf.my for more information.
